A Spanish girl in Glasgow
I know what you are going to say: there is plenty of Spanish girls in Glasgow! And you are right: there is (maybe even more than you can imagine), and I might be just one of them. One with a heart made of sugar and the soul of a writer.
Would you like to know more about me? Keep on reading, then!
I arrived in Scotland in 2016 and I still haven’t regretted it. I moved to Aberdeenshire, in the middle of nowhere, in front of a flock of sheep and surrounded by spiders. It didn’t take long before I moved to Glasgow, and after a year working in hospitality, I found my ideal job in digital marketing… A job that I would later (And after a Master’s in Creative Writing) complement with my real passion: writing and editing books. You can read more about my editorial work on chocolateytinta.com.
When I’m not working or writing, I really enjoy trying to cook (and I say «trying» because my oven is a nightmare and burns everything it touches T^T), spending time with my black and white cat (I’ve got him to love me ALMOST as much as I love him), watching movies, or looking for the perfect idea for my future best-seller.
A girl can dream, ¿verdad?
What is Sofia’s Pencil?
Sofia’s Pencil is my blog. A place where I can talk of all things bookish, whilst sharing with other writers and readers productivity and inspirational tips. It is also where I plan to share part of my creative process as a Fantasy Writer.
But above all, Sofia’s Pencil is my revenge against fear and procrastination. A project that I’d like to last longer than I expect it to.
